Treasure Blitz...?
Well, this was an event I was looking forward to but by the time I got to log in, most of the Rogwel blitzing time was up, so I took up the defenders stance. We all started in Garnedine, but were forced to move to Diren. That wasn't too much of a problem. Eventually, it was Elerd's turn to open the chests. The score at that time was -1-0 Elerd/Rogwel. The thing was that this was the final round and Rogwel had no more chances to score and if Elerd got enough chests open to get just 1 point then they would win and get the country buffs. So almost all of Rogwel was out defending the chests but Elerd did manage to get the two chests they needed to win and then they disappeared. That's it. They did not try to open anymore so Rogwel was just standing around guarding chests that were in no danger of being opened by anyone except some disgruntled Rogwel. I don't want to make AO feel bad though, it was a good concept, maybe with some rule changes it can be a pretty good event. Well, ta-ta for now. Launch today at 10 PM EST, then only a week to finish this with 2 more entries.

Terrawhale Exploration
Today, I would like to go back to Carla's Closed Beta time. Into a time when exploring was still the big thing next to fighting for the middle in the Jarit's Garden in Riall. Carla, being bored with training, decided to go explore one of the only places that wasn't really 'explored', the Terrawhale's insides. So here's a video for her day of exploration.

Chase the Pom

Over the weekend, the GMs held an event called "Chase the Pom", in which you had to find and defeat the opposing nation's pom. (pic 1) Rogwel rallied together for these three events and fought valiantly. We consecutively defeated the three Elerd poms: Pumblebum, Tingle-dor, and Hammercraft. The reward for these events were nation buffs that helped all be able to grind, or train in a place normally overly hard to train otherwise. Hammercraft is the pom in my pics above.
This video shows how hectic this event got.

Recruiting went smoothly and I quickly recruited seven other members, who have become Prinny Pvts. and must now pay for their sins by working for me!! Muhahaha....*cough cough* Uhm, where was I? Not really any other news, so until I have some more news...Ta-ta for now <3

The Re-Entrance of Faize and Event One

Once Open Beta started yesterday, I proceeded to re-create Faize the Summoner. It took a matter of minutes and I was soon back in the Taxn Alliance. (pic 1) Once again I moved quickly and once again reached Rogwel. I stayed long enough to train just a little (pic 2) and then headed for Riall and Jarit's Garden. There Elerds had taken already taken over, so I had to sit around outside fighting the level 15 and 12 Riall Stingers. Over the course of an hour or so I re-leveled to level 21. That was when the announcement of the Scavenger Hunt event was broadcast throughout the Runeshaper server. It was kind of disorganized but the people who won seem to enjoy themselves. Of course, this was the first event hosted by Atlus Online, so it was more of a learning experience. Afterwards, Faize started on her journey to become the leader of the Prinny Brigade. More on that to come as soon as I can find another Kinei Herb. Ta-ta for now. <3

Enter Faize the Animator!

I decided to try out a new class today and decided to make an Animator. Animators are the equivalent to Summoners in other games, only they summon machine beasts being available only to Rogwel citizens. I decided that I wanted to play as a Taxn Human, the more beautiful and agile Human character from the Taxn Alliance. I power-leveled myself through the Alliance, skipping all quests except the tutorial and class change one. Soon, I found myself in Garnedine and a new Animator on my hands. I took the submarine to Riall to train as much as possible. (pic 1) My summon, called Gladiator, proved to be a huge asset in training, as I could stay away from the fight as he did all the attacking for me. But the training was not to last as I was constantly being pounded on by Elerd warriors. Eventually, I left Riall to try my hand at making money. I soon was distracted and trained outside of Riall, which most people would agree that Riall should be the only place to train. I knew that the monsters around my level would prove to be useless to my training so I ventured forth to the Polluted Zone, an area with level 27-34 monsters. By the time I reached that area though, I had already acquired a powerful summon called the Protector. (pic 2) As long as I kept him healed, I was invincible, as he took all damage aimed at me. It was perfect. I quickly leveled in the Polluted Zone and headed to the Land of Remorse, an area with level 31-42 monsters. That area proved to be a little more difficult for the Protector, but we pressed forward and this is currently where I am writing from. More later, after I re-level, because of the wipe into Open Beta everyone's characters are going to be gone so, ta-ta for now.

Bosses+Parties=PWNed

Today in Chrysalis, I decided to once again take on the Mantodean, a boss hidden deep within a creature called the Terrawhale. (pic 1 and 2) I had once taken on the mantodean (pic 3) myself. That was a BIG MISTAKE. Not only did the Manotdean attack me, but everything in the room attacked me. It took short time to dispatch me. Today was different though, today I asked the people of Rogwel to assist me. I graciously accepted help from Regar, a Lupine Tinkerer. We fought for a good period of time just to gather moss herbs, an item that was necessary to summon the mantodean. When we were ready, we summoned the mantodean, and, with our combined strengths, made short work of the mantodean and his guards. I thanked him and we became friends. We parted ways and I reported to Glisen, a Pom scholar who had requested my aid in the first place. I finished the quest and was aptly rewarded with a steam buggy. (pic 4) I was soon drafted for yet another boss fight, this time with Kalin the Conquerer. (pic 5) The first time I was at Kalin's Camp, I joined Xamilech in his endeavour to defeat Kalin. Shortly before Kalin's fall, however, both of us were defeated, much to the horror of Xamilech. I quickly returned however, not daunted by the failure of the first attack, and requested the aid of the people of Rogwel once more. Zeppelin agreed to meet me out there. Little did I know that he was accompanied by Xamilech and Regar. The four of us fought valiantly and managed to defeat Kalin and survive to tell the tale. So, the moral of the story is that making friends is easiest when requesting aid for bosses who are difficult to defeat by one's self. 'Till next time.

The First Day in Chrysalis
Enter Carla, Elven Scout for the Republic of Rogwel. The first day in game seemed to go by really quick. From accepting the first quest (you were asked to equip a belt) to fighting several monsters (crab-like monsters on the Rusty Coast). The Republic of Rogwel appealed more to me because it seemed technologically advanced, more so than the Kingdom of Elerd. Of course it is but another reason (though I'm slow to admit it) for choosing the Republic is because of the Republic from Star Wars...But that's getting off topic. =P Anyways, more to come as I find something else to talk about in NeoSteam: The Shattered Continent.
Here's the video from my first day, show-casing the races and classes for the Republic of Rogwel.
